Okay, that's not true but if anyone can think of 101 uses then I'd love to hear about it :-D
Anyway moving on, the sprites are now up on the website for you all to enjoy and whilst I have no plans to do all 16 charts (that would drive me potty), I have stitched some of the individual sprites as part of smaller projects.
March is an expensive month for me in terms of birthdays - there are three in our family, plus a wedding anniversary.
At Christmas, I made all my family cards in a effort to save money – it was cheaper for me to do that as I had pretty much all the materials to make the cards albeit the odd skein of thread.
It was a lot of fun to do, and seeing as money is still an issue, I’ve decided to do it for family birthdays this year – the only exception has been my fiancé, Mike, but he may get a belated one!
First up was my mum on 6th March – she got a girlie card in the shape of Princess Peach:
Next was my dad on 18th March – he got Donkey Kong!
Finally it was the turn of my nephew, Andrew, who was six-years-old on the 19th March – he got Toad:
The cards were all adapted from the relevant sprites (obviously)!
If you like the sprites I hope that this will inspire you guys to make up your own cards, keyrings, fridge magnets or whatever takes your fancy! As always, don’t forget to show me what you do!!!
