COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS -- DAY 1
Howdo guys!
Can you believe it's just a week to go until Christmas?
This year has flown by ... I can't believe 2018 is almost at an end. I can't say I shall miss it, as it's been a properly shit year!
I'm not really looking forward to Christmas either and to top it all off, I'm full of cold at the moment, so I'm feeling pretty miserable all round.
To cheer me up, I've been doodling ... Nerks!
It wouldn't be Christmas without a festive doodle, and as always, the Nerk Fighters are up to their usual shenanigans! They're currently preparing for their annual Christmas party, so I decided to to take a sneaky peek....
Expect more mayhem tomorrow!

A YEAR IN THE LIFE OF THE NERKS!
Greetings!
Well, 2018 has been a bit "meh" (as the kids say), so far.
As always, the best laid plans never pan out due to an unforeseen circumstance. I think I'm also starting with a cold (well,it is that time of year)!
Anyway, I've been doing some doodling over the last few days. I want to draw my Nerks more this year, as I know they go down quite well. To try and keep me motivated with them, I'm doing a "Year in the Life of the Nerks".
Each month they're going to be doing something based on specific month occasions (Ie; March = Easter).
This month: January = Winter Fun
It's been snowing and the Nerk Fighters are having a snowball fight and building snowmen (or snow-nerks, depending on your preference)!
So that's all for now (short and sweet) ... I'm off to doodle some more!

I could never understand why Square Enix gave Cloud two Birthdays! As if the poor guy isn't confused enough already!
Personally, I go off his
Japanese Birthday (11th August) because that came first, and that's the one
listed in the official Ultimania.
I'm trying to get into drawing
my Nerks again, and as my "Advent Nerks" haven't had as much coverage
as my "Nerk Fighters", I thought the Spiky one's Birthday would be an
ideal time to put pencil to paper! In
case anyone is wondering … "What the hell are 'Advent Nerks'", let me
introduce them:
So far, I have only done
"Avalanche", but I really should give our favourite silver-haired
enemy the 'Nerk' treatment, along with those pesky Turks!
Hahaha!
They have their own folder on my
deviantART page, if you dare to investigate further.
I started doing a comic strip
for the Nerk Fighters back in 1997, following their exploits at Alton Towers
Hopefully, I'll be able to get
it inked and put it up on deviantART soon … watch this space!
So that's all I'm posting for
now. It's a bit random, I know, but
that's how my life is at the moment!
