MORE U.F.P. UPDATES (and other WIP's)

Howdo again!

In my last post, I referred to January as being the month I try and make a dent in any outstanding unfinished projects (UFP's).  The list I compiled covers all my crafts, and, is rather long:

It's very unlikely I shall get every project on the list done, if at all.  In fact, a few have been scrapped already (so, not a good start)!

I'm sure you'll appreciate that it is hard to return to projects that have been neglected for some time.
Some of these projects have been outstanding for a while, so who knows!

Three weeks into 2017, and the list remains untouched!

I've started thinking about projects for Easter, as well as starting another new blackwork project!

A couple of years ago, I started another blackwork project themed round the elements from the Pokemon Trading Card Game.  So far, I had charted and stitched the "Grass" element, and I think I posted stuff on the Facebook page, although nothing was posted on here.

You can find the finished "Grass" element on my DeviantArt page.

The last few weeks I've been going through my ideas folder and getting rid of stuff that I'll probably never chart/stitch etc... and looking for projects that need completing.  The Elements fall into the latter.  I had already charted the pattern outlines, all I needed to do was select the fill patterns as well as thread colours and fabric.

My current financial position means that this is probably going to be a project that will take time to complete, but some patterns have been charted, whilst others are at varying stages of charting (blackwork is slow and time-consuming to chart).  There are two that can be stitched up as I have the right colour threads and fabric for the element.

Last week, I started stitch the "Fighting" Element...

It's proving very therapeutic and quick to stitch ... I don't think it'll take much longer to finish!

After that, I must try and make a dent in that list :D

Finally, last time I said I was going to start uploading my Marvel series of patterns.  However, when it came to checking the PDF's before uploading, I came across some errors in the patterns, so this may delay them awhile.

So that's all for now ... I'm off to stitch some more!

Till next time ... keep Kalm and cross stitch :) x
