Thought it was time to reveal my latest finished piece:
My long term followers will know that back in 2012 I was
dabbling with charting the Pokemon Gym Leaders in blackwork.

My plan was to try and chart as many of my favourite Gym
Leaders (predominantly from the first two games) into Blackwork. To date, this hasn't panned out.
Lt Surge is Pokemon's answer to Guile from Street Fighter
II. He was the second leader I charted
(also back in 2012), but for one reason or another, he didn't get stitched up
until recently.
I finally got round to stitching him this year (he only took
me about 10 days to finish)!
Have to say that I think this one is an improvement on
Erika!
He's worked on antique white 28-hpi evenweave using Anchor
threads - the metallics are Coates Reflecta shades 300 (gold) and 301 (silver).
I'm currently working on the next Gym Leader, which is
"half-charted", although I'm not going to say who it is as I don't
want you to get your hopes up of seeing it finished any time soon :D
