HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

The Nerk Stalkers are holding a "fancy dress" Halloween Party.

They've invited the Nerk Fighters to join in the fun.

The Nerk Fighters have  put a lot of effort into their costumes, but some how, they're feeling a little outdone!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Have a spooktacular time if you're out trick or treating tonight, but remember to stay safe!

Till next time ... keep Kalm and cross stitch!

More Halloween Treats!

I've been really busy with the Halloween projects this year!

Here are a few more:

These Scary Muffins look good enough to eat and they were certainly a lot of fun to make.  The pattern can be downloaded free from Red Heart's website, HERE.  If you haven't seen Red Heart's website, then you should definitely check it out because their website has loads of free patterns, and their yarns look super fabby!!!

This project was actually stitched by my mum although I turned it into a cushion for her because she found the whip-stitching difficult.  The pattern is designed by Barbara Ana and can be downloaded via Creative Poppy's website, HERE.

So that's all for now.  If you're trick or treating tonight, have fun ... but be safe!

Till next time ... keep Kalm and cross-stitch! xx

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

HAVE A SPOOKTACULAR DAY!!!

Halloween Stitchings ... and a Pattern!!!

Hello guys, hope you're all well?

So Halloween is almost upon us and that means Halloween themed stitching.  I had planed (as I always do), to stitch lots of motifs and stuffs to decorate my costume, but (as always) I decide to do too many things!!!

My family are having a themed party a week on Saturday and I realised that trying to stitch two biscornus, two humbugs, a witch badge and lots of ghost motifs was probably more than I can get done between now and then.  Not happy because I bought some glow-in-the-dark thread specially :-(

With that in mind, I want to focus on my biscornus, and anything else will be a bonus!   I haven't designed these myself, although given how cute they are, I wish I had!

Both patterns have been designed by Barbara Ana and you can download them (for a small fee) from the Creative Poppy website.  The first biscornu I am working on is called "Owlscornu" and the second one is called "Halloscornu".

I haven't started the latter one yet, but the Owlscornu is almost complete.  I recently added a new gallery to my Facebook page to showcase my work in progress, and you can see how much I've done so far by clicking HERE.

Whilst we're on the theme of Halloween, I've charted a new pattern:

If you didn't guess, this is the witch from Link to the Past who cooks up your potions!  I was looking for spooky themed gaming sprites and this one just seemed to be perfect for Halloween.  Of course, there are other ghost and skeleton based sprites but I decided to just do this one (I could have got carried away!)

Though there isn't much white on this design, I swopped it out for the glow-in-the-dark (DMC Light Effects shade #E940).

I've uploaded the pattern to the Legend of Zelda folder so feel free to download it! If you decide to stitch it, don't forget to email me a piccie!

Oh, and if you were wondering about my Pokemon Blackwork, fear not!  They haven't been forgotten, but I don't expect to get much done between now and the New Year as after Halloween  I need to start my Christmas stitching, and my to do list is getting longer by the day *oh dear*

So till next time ... Keep Kalm and cross-stitch!!!
