Tonight, it's starts all over again with the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Games. I've never really followed it in the past (due to poor TV coverage), but this time round is different with major UK TV channel, Channel Four giving pretty much wall to wall coverage over the coming week.
If Paralympics GB are as successful as Team GB, then it could be a fabulous event.
To celebrate, I've done some more patterns!
First is the "Agitos" Logo which is the Paralympics equivalent of the Olympics "rings":
In support of Paralympics GB, I also charted this:
The patterns can be found in the "Logo" folder via the "pattern archive" tab. As with the Team GB Logo, I haven't included a "copyright" on the patterns as (again) I don't know who this is/are, but obviously, any copyright belongs to whoever designed the original logos.
The Olympic/Paralympic Mascots "Wenlock" and "Mandeville" are very excited again and have already booked their seat on the sofa for tonight...LOL
I'm planning to stitch both the "agitos" and "paralympic GB" logo's -- that's if I finish working on my Team GB logo that I'm stitching at the moment (in blackwork, of course):
*PHEW*
I have far too many projects on the go...LOL
Well that's me done blogging for now, my tea is almost ready and then I shall be settling down in front of the TV in a hour, maybe with some stitching ;D
Till next time ... keep Kalm and Cross-stitch! xxx
